The 2026 YAF Week Celebration was officially launched on Sunday, 19th April 2026, by the District Minister, Rev. Dr. Chris Baah Nartey, setting a reverent and anticipatory tone for the week ahead.
The celebration was observed under the compelling and forward-looking theme:
“Celebrating Our Heritage: Building on the Foundation Already Laid; Upholding Unity for Mission.”
Activities commenced in earnest on Wednesday, 22nd April, with a profound exposition on the theme delivered by Rev. Dr. Chris Baah Nartey. His insightful teaching provided both historical grounding and spiritual direction, urging members to remain steadfast in mission while drawing strength from the foundation laid by those before them.
On Thursday, 23rd April, Elder Tina Amaniampong engaged members in a thought-provoking session on Financial Management in Marriage, offering practical guidance on stewardship, communication, and financial discipline within the Christian home.
The momentum continued on Friday, 24th April, with a dynamic and highly practical session on Entrepreneurship and Credit Union Investments, facilitated by Mr. Raphael Edu-Gyan and Ms. Audrey Agyei. The session equipped members with actionable strategies for wealth creation, financial growth, and leveraging cooperative financial systems for long-term stability.
Saturday, 25th April, was dedicated to outreach and wellness through a combined Street Evangelism and Health Walk, organized as a district-wide YAF activity. This exercise not only strengthened physical well-being but also demonstrated the fellowship’s commitment to evangelism and community impact.
The week-long celebration was solemnly and joyfully brought to a close on Sunday, 26th April 2026, with a Thanksgiving Service, where members expressed heartfelt gratitude to God for a successful and impactful YAF Week.
